Valarie Allman

Valarie Allman

Valarie Allman is an American track and field athlete who throws the discus. Valarie recently graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science in Product Design, an interdisciplinary major consisting of art-history, design, and mechanical engineering. During her time as a Cardinal, she was a seven-time All-American, twice Pac-12 discus champion and team captain. Valarie has represented the United States six times where she earned silver medals at the World Junior Championships in Eugene, OR in 2014 and the World University Games in Taipei, Taiwan in 2017. Most recently she earned Team USA a bronze medal at the inaugural Athletics World Cup in London.

Valarie won the 2018 US National Championship in the women's discus - she threw the discus 208 feet, 6 inches (63.55m) to win by 8 feet. The latter toss was the longest by an American last year. She recently moved to Austin, TX to continue her training under the guidance of Zebulon Sion. At her first meet in the 2019 season, Valarie tossed the discus 67.15m, a personal best, an NYAC Club record and the fifth-longest toss ever by an American woman. The latter toss also satisfied the 2019 World Championship and 2020 Olympic standards for the women's discus.

Gwen Berry

Gwen Berry

Gwendolyn "Gwen" Denise Berry is an American track and field athlete who specializes in the weight throw/hammer throw. Gwen was a member of Team USA at the 2016 Rio Olympics and she was the gold medalist in the hammer at the 2014 Pan American Sports Festival. She was crowned national champion in the weight throw at the USA Indoor Track and Field Championships three times (2013, 2014 and 2016), and she was crowned the national champion in the hammer throw at the 2017 USATF Outdoor National Championships. Gwen is the current world record holder in the weight throw with her toss of 25.60m in April 2017. She held the American record hold in the hammer throw (77.78m/255-2), until fellow NYAC athlete Deanna Price reclaimed the record at the 2018 USATF Outdoor Championship with a toss of 78.12m/256-3. Gwen's recent toss of 77.78m makes her the fifth-best performer in women's hammer throw history and the third best world toss by a woman in 2018.

Amanda Yvette Bingson is an American track and field athlete specializing in the hammer throw. Amanda is the former American record holder in the event with a distance of 75.73m set at the 2013 US Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Erica Bougard

Erica Bougard

Erica Bougard is an American track and field athlete competing in the outdoor heptathlon and the indoor pentathlon. The women's outdoor heptathlon consists of seven events, with the first four contested on the first day, and the remaining three on day two: 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m run, long jump, javelin throw and 800m run. The indoor pentathlon consists of five events held over the course of one day in the following order: 60m hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump and 800m run.

Erica is a two-time US Outdoor National Champion in the heptathlon (2018 – 6,347 points and 2019 – 6,663 points), one-time silver medalist (2017 – 6,557 points), and three-time bronze medalist at the USATF Outdoor National Championships (2013 – 5,990 points; 2014 – 6,118 points; and 2015 – 6,228 points). In 2012, Erica was the 2012 US Junior Outdoor Heptathlon Champion (5,547 point). Erica is a two-time USATF Indoor Champion in the pentathlon (2017 – 4,558 points and 2018 – 4,760 points).

In both the heptathlon and pentathlon, Erica is strong in the running and jumping events. As a result of her performances, Erica can rightly claim that she is presently the greatest all-around athlete in the United States.

A three-time Olympian, Michelle Denee Carter is an American shot putter and the current Olympic women's champion. Michelle is the current American record holder with a distance of 20.63 meters set at the 2016 Olympic Games. Michelle is also the national prep record holder in shot put at 16.73m/54-10.75.

Megan Clark

Megan Clark

Megan Clark is an American track and field athlete competing in the pole vault. Megan is a 2016 graduate of Duke University where she was an All American, ACC record holder and ACC Women's Field Performer of the Year (2015) for her performances in the pole vault. Megan was also the 2016 NACAC U23 Champion and the 2013 U.S. Junior National Champion.

Nadia Eke

Nadia Eke

Nadia Eke is a triple jumper who resides in the United States, but competes internationally for Ghana. In 2014, she finished 10th at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow; she won a silver medal at the African Championships in Marrakech, and she finished seventh at the IAAF Continental Cup. In 2016, Nadia was the African Champion in the triple jump, and in 2017 she was the IAAF World Indoor Tour runner-up in the triple jump.

Tori Franklin

Tori Franklin

Tori Franklin presently holds the American record (48-8¼/14.84m) in the triple jump.

On the day she set the American record (May 12th, 2018), she exceeded the previous American record by five inches and, in all, her series that day resulted in five of the top seven jumps in US history.

Tori won the USATF Indoor National Championship in the triple jump in 2017 and 2018 and was second in the triple jump at the 2017 USATF Outdoor National Championships. She has competed twice at the IAAF World Track & Field Championships on behalf of Team USA.

Tori attended Michigan State University where she was a three-time All American.

Gia competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics and at the 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017 World Championships in the discus on behalf of Team USA. Gia was the 2017 US National Champion in the discus.

Katie Nageotte

Katie Nageotte is an American track and field athlete who competes in the pole vault. At the USA Track & Field Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, N.M., on February 18th, 2018, Katie delivered three consecutive personal bests in the pole vault. The third, at 16 feet, 1-1/4 inches, earned her the national championship title - her first - and placed her among the all-time best in the world for women indoors. Her previous personal best had been 15 feet 7-1/4 inches.

Deanna Price

Deanna Price

Deanna Marie Price is an American track and field athlete competing primarily in the weight throw/hammer throw. Deanna was a member of Team USA at the 2015 and 2017 World Championships and at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Deanna was crowned national champion in the weight throw at the 2018 USATF Indoor Championships and national champion in the hammer throw at the 2018 USATF Outdoor Championships. Deanna initially held the American record for the hammer throw for just six days (77.65m/254-9) in 2018, until her teammate Gwen Berry took the record back on June 8th, 2018 with a toss of 77.78m/255-2 in Poland. At the 2018 USATF Outdoor Championships, held in Des Moines, IA on June 23rd, 2018, Deanna reclaimed the American hammer throw record with a toss of 78.12m/256-3. Deanna's recent hammer throw makes her the fourth best female hammer thrower in world history (and second best in the world this year), while Gwen's recent toss makes her the fifth best hammer thrower in history (and the third best in the world this year).

Kara Winger



Kara Winger is an American track and field athlete competing in the javelin throw. Kara is the current American record holder in the event with her toss of 66.67m. She is a 2009 graduate of Purdue University where she was a two-time NCAA All-American in the javelin and a class of 2018 Hall of Fame inductee. Kara is a three-time Olympian (2008, 2012 and 2016) and eight-time National Champion (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018). Kara recently won the gold medal in the javelin at the 2019 Pan American Games with a toss of 64.92m. She will be competing for Team USA at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, Qatar.
