Travers Island offers an extensive
calendar of fun-filled events for children.

The Winged Foot Day Camp, which takes place throughout the summer, is especially popular, offering tennis instruction, swimming and running, arts and crafts, movies and field trips to see the Yankees or Mets play ball. For tennis enthusiasts, there are parent-child events, competitions and instruction for all ages and abilities. A full calendar of TI social events - the Seafeast, Camp Out Night and the Character Brunch, to name just a few - ensure that the entire family will never be without something fun to enjoy.

An expanded schedule of Junior Programs - including Junior Sailing - also means that youngsters can spend a summer filled with events that are challenging, educational and downright fun.

Never to be forgotten, of course, is the annual All Sports Youth Day, a tradition of fun competitions for the entire family that makes everybody an NYAC Olympian for a day. Rides and a carnival atmosphere ensure that the emphasis stays firmly on a day of enjoyment.
