    • Kibwé Johnson is an American track and field athlete who specializes in the hammer throw. Kibwé has represented the United States at the World Championships in Track & Field four times (2007, 2011, 2015 and 2017). Kibwé competed in the 2012 London Olympics where he made the final. No American had made the final since 1996.  Kibwé also competed in the hammer at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

Joe is a 2015 World Champion, 2016 Olympic silver medalist and 2017 World silver medalist. In its most recent rankings of athletes (2017-2018), Track and Field News ranked Joe as the one of the world’s top male shot putters: no. 2 in the US and no. 3 in the world.

  • Sam Mattis

    • Sam Mattis is an American discus thrower.

      Sam was a two-time New Balance National Champion in high school and finished his high school career with the New Jersey state record and the fifth best throw in high school history.

      At the University of Pennsylvania, Sam continued his discus career with four consecutive Ivy League Championship titles, the 2015 NCAA National Championship title, the American Collegiate record in the discus and was named the 2015 NCAA Scholar Athlete of the Year.

      After graduating cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Sam turned down an offer from JP Morgan to pursue his dream of making an Olympic podium.

  • Conor McCullough

    • Conor McCullough is an American hammer thrower and weight thrower. Conor won the 2015 NCAA outdoor title, defeating the field by 17 feet and recording the longest throw by a collegiate athlete since May 2002. He is a two-time medalist at the junior world championships, including gold in 2010 and silver in 2008. He won bronze at the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games with a toss of 73.74m. Conor competed alongside NYAC teammate Kibwe Johnson in the hammer throw at the 2016 Rio Olympics. His father, Conor, represented Ireland in the hammer throw at the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games. Conor was crowned national champion in the weight throw at the 2018 USATF Indoor Championships.

  • Rudy Winkler


    • Rudy Winkler is an American track and field athlete who competes in the hammer throw and weight throw. While an undergraduate at Cornell, Rudy was a three-time NCAA First Team All-American; he was named NCAA Northeast Region Field Athlete of the Year three times and the Ivy League's Most Outstanding Performer in 2014 and 2015.  He captured the 2017 NCAA hammer throw crown with a toss of 74.12m (243' 2"). In 2016, Rudy recorded his personal record in the hammer at the perfect time: the 2016 United States Olympic Trials. His toss of 76.76m (251' 10") earned him the win at the Trials and a trip to the Rio Olympics in 2016 where he placed 18th. As a graduate student at Rutgers University in 2018, he was named a First Team All-American in the Hammer Throw; he was the USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Region Field Athlete of the Year, the Big Ten Hammer Throw Champion and was named First Team All-Big Ten.

      Rudy holds personal bests of 76.76m (251' 10") for the hammer throw and 22.82m (74' 10 1⁄4") for the weight throw. He has been the USA National Champion in the hammer throw in 2016 and 2018.
