Wrestling Club
The Wrestling Club's primary goal is to support the sport of wrestling in the United States and, in particular, in the New York area. Wrestling has been a sport at the
NYAC since the first modern Olympics in 1896. NYAC wrestlers have been consistent winners of Olympic and national (team and individual) titles. The Club hosts two international tournaments per year, one Greco Roman and one freestyle (both men's and women's). They are normally held in November.

Practice is held Monday through Thursday from 7pm to 9pm. Mondays and Wednesdays for Greco Roman and Tuesdays and Thursdays for freestyle
in the basement wrestling room in the City House. Meetings are held after practice on the first Tuesday of every month. Meetings feature wrestling talk and camaraderie that are all geared toward the betterment of our program in general. Beer and snacks are available during and after meetings for $10.

Wrestling Club members are encouraged to participate in other NYAC activities and Intra Clubs. Membership dues are currently $50 per year.
