The
mission of the Fine Arts Club is to create a forum for the inter-action
of NYAC members with the broad cultural community of New York, its
talent and artistic expression, the appreciation of which provides
basis to enhance the enjoyment of life.
The term “fine art” is
interpreted broadly to include any aspect of the cultural community of
New York including, but not limited to, sculpture, architecture, dance,
photography, film, any of the currently blossoming audio and visual
media, and even fine dining. The general membership of the Fine Arts
Club shall have ultimate responsibility for the inclusion of activities
falling under this rubric.
The founding members of the Fine Arts
Club have decades of experience in the field of American painting, and
have many contacts in the museum, gallery and auction house worlds.
Proposed events include gallery openings, museum shows, auction house
previews, films, book author presentations, and much more. A
magnificent Manhattan cultural experience awaits.
