The Swimming and Water Polo Club is the support organization for the nationally ranked water polo team, the highly competitive swimming team and the masters swimmers. Club membership is primarily made up of members and former members of these three teams. Membership also includes many friends and supporters of the team and the sport. The swimming team has continuously competed at very high levels. Forged from many former NCAA, All-American and current national champions, the swimming team continues to win titles, especially the Senior Metropolitan Championships.

Comprised of past and current United States Olympians, the water polo team has also been extremely successful. Competing in two national championships per year, it has been able to claim an amazing eight national titles in only five years. Practices are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the City House and Travers Island. Socially, the Club hosts an annual Awards Dinner and a Holiday Party in December.
