Few
sports combine the high level of skill, strength, aerobics and mental
toughness as rowing does. The NYAC is known as one of the premier
rowing organizations in the world.
The NYAC is a perennial
contender for the national club championship and regularly places its
rowers on the national team. Club members include world champions and
Olympic champions. The Rowing Club holds the annual St. Valentine's Day
Massacre, an indoor ergometer competition, and several dinners and
regattas through the year. |
