The
men and women of the Lacrosse Club carry on the very proud tradition of
NYAC lacrosse which dates from 1891 and include s, as recently as 1990,
the U.S. National Champions. Pending ability, the 75 members
participate at all levels of the sport in spring and summer leagues,
from the core relaxed play of masters games to the zenith of men’s and
women’s local and international competition. With practices and games
at Travers Island during the spring and summer season, members enjoy a
year round agenda of athletic events.
Socially, the Club offers travel, periodic cocktail parties, tournament parties and of course, post game tailgating.
