The
Fencing Club’s main purpose is to foster the spirit of the sport
fencing. A social member of the Fencing Club supports those who
compete on the elite fencing team and the overall program, while
learning the basics of the sport. As interest in fencing has increased
(due to its fantastic cardio-vascular properties) the need for a
beginners' class has been added and is now available on Fridays from
6pm-7:30pm. Plans in the future include a beginner class to be held
over a six-month period, twice a year, to accommodate new members. The
Fencing Club's 52 members practice during the week Monday through
Friday from 6pm-9pm, Saturdays 12pm-4pm and Sundays from 10am-3pm.
Members also enjoy two cocktail/buffet dinners per year as well as an
annual Holiday Party.
