Knights of the Green Table

Founded in 1926, the Knights of the Green Table were established to promote the pleasures of pool, snooker, and three-cushion bill iards. Home for the 200 Knights is the beautiful brass chandeliered Billiard Room on the tenth floor of the City House, overlooking Central Park. It features six regulation pool tables, four snooker tables, two billiards tables, as well as beverages and dining. All of these offerings make it one of the most exciting and accommodating rooms for players and spectators alike. After their traditional summer hiatus, the Knights' season begins in October with regular Tuesday evening play and assorted "brass" tourneys. Lessons and handicap play facilitate immediate participation by members of all skill levels. The Knights are founding members of, and compete in, many New York Billiard Association and International Snooker League events, bringing home frequent annual league championships. If you are looking for a place to relax, entertain and have fun, then the Billiards Room is the place for you.
