Anglers

The NYAC Anglers Club Inc., keeping in tradition with our parent club, the New York Athletic Club, is dedicated to providing its members a fine venue to enjoy everything good associated with being an “Angler.” Our fishing trips, both fresh and salt water, range from local waters to exotic and distant shores. Each trip is thoughtfully planned and prepared for; usually, all you have to do is “walk on and walk off.” Awards are earned on every trip for Angler accomplishments and are presented to the winners at our annual awards and banquet ceremony. This year, we will be celebrating our 72nd annual awards event. While the trips are really great, you will find the conviviality, hospitality and camaraderie of your fellow Anglers superlative.

Please make it a point to join us this season; your participation is welcome and important to the club’s vitality. While we have an interesting line-up of trips scheduled for the 2008 Season, we are always interested in your suggestions. This year we would like our membership to reach out and call an Angler friend before an event or fishing trip as a reminder and, more importantly, having more participation at our events. Just a simple call does wonders. We are also improving and enhancing our pages on this site. We are encouraging members to use the web site for upcoming trips, events, notices, contacts, viewing picture galleries, and generally being more interactive with membership. This a fabulous tool we have and we are on a campaign to “point” membership to the web site as a focal point for our club.
