Originally the Modern Pentathlon took place over four or five days. In 1996 the one-day format
was adopted to make the competition more audience friendly.
Modern Pentathlon competition in London begins on August 11th

Residence: Colorado Springs, CO
21st - 2008 Olympic Games. 17th - World Championships, 2009. 3rd - World Junior Championships, 2009. 1st - US National Championships, 2009. 1st - Pan American Games, 2011. Preferred disciplines are running and swimming. Ran cross country in high school. A member of the 2007 Arkansas State Championship-winning cross-country team. Received the Presidential Environmental Youth Award in high school and was invited to attend the awards ceremony at the White House. |
Suzanne Stettinius
DOB: January, 22nd, 1988
Residence: Parkton, MD
2nd - January Domestic Qualifier, 2012. 2nd - US Nationals, 2010 & 2011. An amateur steeplechase jockey. Lives on her family’s farm in Parkton, MD with 40 horses. Broke her neck in a horse race in 2009 and her collar bone in training earlier this year. Participated in her first modern pentathlon during her senior year of high school. A 2011 graduate of McDaniel College. Ranked 2nd in the US to Margaux Isaksen. |
