Maggie Infeld

Maggie Infeld is a graduate of Georgetown University where she was a four-time Division I NCAA All-American and seven-time Big East Champion. She is a 2004 graduate of Beaumont High School in Cleveland, Ohio where she was a nine-time Division I state champion. She set a state record in the 1600 meter run and helped to set the state record in the 4x800 meter relay, which still stands. She was also the 800m anchor on Beaumont’s national championship sprint medley relay team in 2002.

In her last season at Georgetown, Maggie anchored the Georgetown 4x1500m relay at the Penn Relays to a time that was the third fastest in the world, set a meet record in winning the Big East 1500 meters, and later finished 5th in the 1500 meters at the 2009 NCAA Outdoor Championships. Along with her Georgetown teammates, she helped to set a school record in the Distance Medley Relay that finished 5th at the 2009 Indoor NCAA Championships.

Maggie Infeld is currently taking a hiatus from medical school to train for the US Olympic trials in the 1500 meters. She trains with a group of post-collegiate athletes under Coach Chris Miltenberg, the 2011 Women’s NCAA XC Coach of the Year, in Washington DC. Maggie is a three-time USA Championships top-ten finisher in the 1500 meters, and the 2010 Penn Relays mile champion. She credits her sponsorship from the New York Athletic Club as a key factor in helping her to steadily improve since college and gain valuable experience competing internationally.
