The NYAC elite triathlon team is initially comprised of four men and four women. These top-ranked athletes will quickly bring the NYAC to the front of the pack in competitive triathlon racing. The team will represent the NYAC at the 2010 World Championships and National Championships as well as several other races on the national and international racing circuits. The team will also compete in the NYC Triathlon, New York’s premier race, in July.

NYAC Takes First and Second Place
at the NYC Triathlon



The New York City Triathlon took place on Sunday, July 18th. Many of the NYAC's athletes competed. Among the top finishers were Rebeccah Wassner, Laurel Wassner and Craig Foos.

 Rebeccah Wassner cruised to her second straight NYC Triathlon Championship in 2:00:25. Rebecca's twin sister Laurel finished second in 2:02:16. Also finishing at the front of the pack was the NYAC's Craig Foos finished 16th overall with a time of 2:04:18.
