Lesley Higgins
 Lesley Higgins was a two-time NCAA DI track All-American at the University of Colorado. While running for CU, Lesley was the first American, second overall, in the mile at the 2001 NCAA DI indoor track and field championships, running a personal best of 4:42.36. In 2000, she was a scoring member of the NCAA DI cross country national championship team, and also finished eighth in the 3000 meters at the NCAA DI outdoor track and field championships. In 1999, she was the Big XII champion in the 1000 meters indoors, and selected as the Big XII newcomer of the year. She was also the Big XII champion in the 3000 meter steeplechase in 2002, and was a 2002 USA track and field championships qualifier in the 3000 meter steeplechase.
Lesley began her comeback in 2007, competing in the 2007 USA championships in the 3000 meter steeplechase. On June 7, 2008, she achieved the Olympic Trials A standard with a PR 9:58.63 at the Saturn Midwest Distance Solution. She finished 13th in the final of the 3000meter steeplechase at the 2008 Olympic Trials.
Lesley works as a political consultant in New York State.
