NYAC Epee fencers Seth Kelsey and Benji Ungar
Win Silver medals at World Championships
With 31 teams starting off the day, the USA was seeded 12th. The US started off strong beating 18th seed, Czech Republic to make the 16th, then advanced to the finals by beating China, Korea and Hungary. Team USA lost to France in the finals bring home silver medals.
NYAC Men's and Women's Epee Teams
Win Gold at National Championships
 
The NYAC men's and women's epee fencing teams won gold at the National Championships on Wednesday, July 7th in Atlanta, Georgia. Finishing at 12:30am, the NYAC men's team defeated the Peter West Brook Foundation for the gold and also won bronze defeating East Bay in a field of 54. The NYAC women's epee won gold and silver in a field of 28 teams earlier in the day, having to fence each other in the final. The NYAC epee teams achieved the ultimate goal of winning the individual and team titles in both men's and women's epee (a total of four golds). A big congratulations also goes out to Jeff Spear and Paolo Roselli taking gold and silver in Division 1A men's sabre.

3rd - Adam Watson, Nick Vomero, Alex Tsinis, Cliff Fishler
Women's Epee Team:
1st - Courtney Hurley, Kelley Hurley, Lindsay Campbell, Maya Lawrence
2nd - Danielle Henderson, Holly Buechel, Ashley Severson, Audrey Abend

1st - Jeff Spear
2nd - Paolo Roselli
