All Sports Dinner
Held each winter, the NYAC's All Sports Dinner is one of the most spirited functions on the Club's annual calendar. Close to 1000 people pack the 6th floor Gymnasium for a banquet to honor our national champions and those who have made U.S. teams for world championships, Pan Am Games or Olympic Games. Complementing the occasion are the luminaries from the sports world who join the Club on honoring our outstanding athletes. Phil Simms, Joe Torre, Donna De Verona, Warner Wolf, Pat Riley, Bob Hope, Michael Johnson, George Steinbrenner, Tommy Lasorda, Phil Jackson, Don Zimmer, Lou Lamoriello and Dan Doctoroff are just a handful of those who have assisted in making the All Sports Dinner a truly memorable affair.

American-International Athlete Trophy Award
The NYAC has a special bond with the American-International Athlete Trophy. Presented each year to the world's most accomplished amateur sportsman or woman, the occasion is organized by NYAC member, Herb Douglas and the International Amateur Athletics Association. The Jesse Owens Dinner, held at the Waldorf Astoria, always attracts a large number of NYAC attendees who are proud to honor sportspeople who compete in the traditions on which the Club was founded. The award itself is housed in our opulent 2nd Floor Hall of Fame.
