Athletics
The history of the New York Athletic Club is the history of its athletes. The Club has counted among its members some of the most celebrated sportsmen and women in history. Similarly, the Club has been at the forefront in ensuring that its athletes can avail of a support system - facilities, funds and equipment - that is second to none. NYAC athletes have responded by building an athletic dynasty that is the envy of clubs around the world.

Complementing our athletic infrastructure is the NYAC Athlete's Fund which provides additional funding for our elite competitors. This is especially crucial in an Olympic year when the demands of travel for competition and training can require additional resources. The mission of the Athlete's Fund goes beyond just the NYAC, however; it also provides funding to develop sports programs in inner city areas, hewing close to the NYAC's belief in the enormous inherent value to young men and women of healthy sporting competition.
