Mallory Anderson


Mallory Anderson, 23, attended Columbia University where she ran Cross Country and Track and Field. On the track, she specialized in the 3000m steeplechase--scoring in multiple Ivy League Championships and competing in NCAA Regional Championships. Mallory was a 3-time NCAA Academic All-American. At Columbia she also earned a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Business Management.

After graduating in 2013, Mallory decided to focus on longer-distance road races. In 2013, she raced her first half-marathon, winning the Staten Island Half in 1:22:51. She went on to run the Brooklyn Half Marathon in a personal best of 1:21:36. Mallory lives in Manhattan and works in marketing consulting. When she's not working or running, Mallory enjoys biking and reading (usually historical fiction).
