Chris Bendtsen, 22, graduated from Princeton University in 2014 with a BA in Economics. At Princeton he was captain of the Cross Country and Track teams, and is the school record holder in the 10k with a time of 28:49.
Chris’s collegiate running accomplishments include winning the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships in cross country (2013) and the 5k on the track (2014), and competing in the NCAA Championships a total of 5 times (three times in cross country and twice in the track 10k). His best finishes are 43rd in cross country (2013) and 9th in the 10k (Second Team All America 2014).
To end his collegiate career, Chris most recently competed in the 2014 USATF Outdoor Championships, and the 2014 NACAC Under 23 Championships for team USA, both in the 10k.
Chris is currently living in Manhattan and working for eMarketer, a market research company. Chris is excited to join NYAC and take his talents to the roads, while continuing to pursue the 10k on the track.
